General Psychology

Missouri S&T Psychological Science department gives high school students the opportunity to earn college credit in PSYCH 1101, General Psychology as an introduction to the science of the human mind and behavior. This course earns 3.0 LEC credits. Some of the topics for this course include brain structure, and function, human development, learning and memory, motivation, emotion, personality and psychological health, psychological disorders and their treatment, and social cognition and human relationships.

Using the Credits

This is a great way to get a head start on your college career if you are interested in obtaining a BA or BS in Psychology. Additionally, this course is a MO42 transfer course and can be used to count towards the general education requirements of any degree plan.
