Through our 12 departments shown below, the College of Arts, Sciences, and Education offers 15 bachelor's, 10 master's and three doctoral degrees, as well as 44 minors. The College also offers other curriculums and courses to customize your education, whether to supplement your degree program, or to enhance your professional development.

Are you looking for a special credential to customize your degree for your job search, or to just expand your knowledge? Consider CASE’s new undergraduate certificates earned through 12 hours of study in a specialized area. Undergraduate certificates will be represented on your transcript. Learn more.

Grad Track Pathway or “4 + 1 Programs” let you begin a master’s degree while completing your undergraduate degree, reducing the time and expense of graduate school, are offered in CASE’s mathematics and statistics department. In a partnership with the University of Health Sciences and Pharmacy in St. Louis (formerly St. Louis College of Pharmacy), S&T’s biological sciences department also offers an accelerated option for students to gain early admission into pharmacy school.

Our many graduate certificate programs are designed to appeal to working professionals to help them stay up with the latest knowledge in their fields and may also be used as a pathway to a graduate degree.

Students also can take advantage of S&T’s distance education options for graduate degrees and certificates and for individual graduate and undergraduate courses. 

Research Opportunities

Undergraduate research can give you a leading edge, and in CASE, you’ll have plenty of chances to explore your interests. Most of our faculty are active researchers with diverse interests they’d love to share with you.
